- Shifters book 5
I’ve also posted the full cover (with the plot description blurred out in consideration of Prey spoilers) on my blog.
This cover is a little different from the previous books, but I love it! I really think this cover gives a better feel for the tone of the books than any of the previous ones. Shift is dark, and moody, and… intense, thanks to the aftermath of some stuff that happened in Prey. You know what I mean, right? 
As I mentioned on my blog, this is a new model. The model who posed for Rogue, Pride, and Prey moved to California and is no longer available in Toronto, where the covers shoots are done, but I think this Faythe looks enough like the previous one that people who don’t know she’s new would never notice.
This time there’s no necklace, since we don’t see her from the front, and instead, Faythe’s wearing leopard print bracelets. No, she doesn’t actually wear bracelets or a dress in the book, but I’m not going to be that picky. The tone is dead-on, and the model is perfect, so I’m one happy author this morning.
What do you guys think? Would you pick this book up?

I haven’t read any of your books yet (sorry – they are on my To Read list!), but looking at the cover I am immediately curious as to why she has the bloody claw marks going down her arm. Also, I like the dress. The cover would definitely make me want to pick it up to read the back and see if it was something I would want to read. I think it looks sexy, intriguing, and it definitely piques my curiousity.

Well I’m already hooked on the series so I’d buy SHIFT regardless, but yes – this is a kick ass cover. Definitely captures the “shift” in plot dynamics that came about by the end of PREY. The cover Goddesses just keep on blessing you girl. Wicked cool.

it looks good – i was worried that the cover would not match the others. it is very pretty and will still match to the others in my collection.

I really love the cover. The claw marks draw you in, and it flows nicely with the other covers that you would make the connection. Awesome!!!
I really like the cover. Just finished Prey yesterday and at the end I stood up and yelled “Oh shenanigans!” Scared my kids half to death. heh. Can’t wait for Shift!
